Back when going to college there was a public announcement from the Paris Treaty about global-warming and its efforts to produce more ideas and companies that could not only change our way of living but told us to proactively make the planet a better place than before we had arrived into the world. Its a responsibility I hold true to my heart. This project is a futurist idea of a small place that could be re-purposed for good. During college I used to go to a lot of abandoned buildings and just appreciate the space for what it once was but also to just adventure. I came up with the idea under my parent company Kuler that it would be so cool to see these reused. To repurpose parking garages as public gardens or reusing an abandoned church as an air-soft arena. Ideas that could create a sense of community and inspire. Our goal is the change the future of communities in our little corner of the world :)
First when creating the logo and what inspiration came behind it I wanted to keep it about the quote “my little corner of the world”. Those words kept ringing in my head and I looked through several names with ChatGPT in order to brainstorm quicker. I landed on corner aka RINCON in spanish. I wanted a latin-american name that could convey the idea that to escape your world you just had to go down the street or to the little corner of your neighborhood that you loved leaving your house for or rushing to after work instead of just going home. There were options that did make me second guess if RINCON was the right choice but overall this one spoke to me more than most. After mind-mapping for a name i came up with a collage of some fonts and logos that inspired me with the decision but ultimately was chosen like this through a typeface I found on DaFont after hours and hours of looking for something that spoke.

INSPIRATION
Most of the actual inspiration for this brand comes truly from programs or futurists out there that have been participating in the fight against climate change or actively supported ideas that I believe inspire a positive impact for future generations and creatives who are finding their place within society. Our calling as designers and creatives alike is now more than ever a necessity for the future of this planet and the generation of creators to come.
Interior Ideas
Primarily came from self-inspired food, free spaces, fitness, lounges, creative spaces, venues, gardens, and other interior design inspirations. For furniture most will be refurbished donations and more community inspired machines like foosball table, pool tables of course, ping pong tables, arcade machines like Galactica, Pac-Man, and more. Our hope is most other things we find can be interactive or help our partnering companies with their interior idea for our spaces so everyone can feel RINCON as a welcoming community area for everyone. Over the past year of idealization I found out that most of the great ideas I have others have created and or just becoming a thing. My creative process for this project includes no competitors but rather colleagues and partners alongside or together. When you come inside our buildings WE want to make you feel at home and that you also think it would help our communities. All our inspirations are environmentally-friendly. Below are some of those interior ideas I’d believe would bring to life every corner of Rincon.
